Diva Danielle
Danielle is a Metropolitan Opera award winner and a fourth generation theatre performer (recently working 8 years for Tony Award winning and Broadway Hall of Fame Director Jack O'Brien.) Her performances have taken her to almost every corner of the world including starring roles in musical theatre such as the English National Tour of "Side by Side by Sondheim" and Eva Peron in "Evita". But it was in 2001 that she made one of the most terrifying stage entrances of her life when she jumped head first into the scrapbooking industry trade show circuit wearing a ball gown and her trademark tiara. This was her way to differentiate her new Scrapbook Divaź business from the other vendors. An accomplished crafter all her life, she formed Scrapbook Divaź, based on funky scrapbooking accessories such as wild tote covers and logo clothing designed to bring out the "diva" in other scrapbookers. Once people began to catch on to the fun concept behind Scrapbook Divaź, the company was off and running. She found the product acceptance that she was hoping for and then spent the next four years on the exhausting trade show circuit as the Scrapbook Divaź. Actually most people don't even know or remember her real name any more, they just address her as Diva." In her last year on the road (2004), the "Diva on the Road" section of the ScrapbookDiva.com website listed 24 scrapbook shows which is six times the number she did that first year. It is the success of Scrapbook Diva that has enabled Forsgren to actualize a dream that she had been sitting on for quite some time - to use her theatrical training to host her own show about the crafting industry, Diva-Style. And that is exactly what she has done with Diva Craft Lounge RadioT which airs every Wednesday from 12 - 1 PM Pacific Time.
